The team has been working secretly behind the scenes on some new branding for the upcoming school year. We are so excited to announce this new branding with our students but we need your help. With the development of new branding also comes the plan for branded merch (products) and also an exciting new adventure playground space we are launching for the summer.

Meet Blazer the Yeti! Blazer is our new mascot for MHA. We are so excited to share him with everyone. We commissioned an artist to design him uniquely for us. Why the yeti you may be asking…
The yeti is known as a guardian. They symbolise the untamed and wild nature of the wilderness. Its has been said that an encounter with a yeti is a test of one’s courage and resilience. We feel the Yeti embodies the experiences we are creating for children today. We have chosen the Yeti to represent a guardian of play and the adventurous spirit of childhood.
Blazer will be showing up in all kinds of places next year. We wanted to kick off the launch of Blazer this year with some school merch that we want to be launching over the next few weeks with a Merch Party.
What is a merch party you may be asking. A merch party is a concept by my friend Jeremy who owns Peace and Cotton came up with to make the merch experience LIVE and engaging for all involved.

How it works?
How it works is we research branding ideas and product ideas with our kids, team and families. Then we work with Jeremy’s team to design concepts and choose products. Then Jeremy will pop up at our school and do a LIVE printing product demo. Kids get to see the product being made and there is also the opportunity to personalize the products as well.
We plan to launch merch for the team, our students and families that are unique to each group and only available to those groups. We will also consider designing a fun item that the community can purchase as well.
We have gathered research from the team already. We will be speaking with all of your kids today and tomorrow about what they are interested in (without telling them about the yeti or the fact that they will be getting product this year)

THE YETI MERCH PARTY FORM
We are planning for the merch party of May 24 or 27 at school along with a pizza party. We will be presenting 2 product package options to families in the next day or so and need your confirmation and size selection by monday may 6th at the latest and payment submitted by the 10th. More details will be coming over the next few days, keep an eye on your email.
